Job description

We are looking for an experienced Expert LV Systems OSS to join our TIS team, supporting one of the leading European energy companies in the execution of a major offshore substation project.

As part of TIS, you will contribute your expertise to ensure the quality, safety, and technical excellence of low-voltage (LV) systems in complex offshore environments.

Electrical Engineer – LV Systems (Offshore Substations)

Location: Berlin | Hybrid (Remote & Onsite) | Occasional travel required

Your Role:

  • Review and comment on LV system designs and documentation from contractors.

  • Identify and mitigate technical risks related to LV works.

  • Supervise and coordinate audits and inspections during LV construction phases.

  • Support installation, commissioning, and O&M teams with LV system know-how.

  • Monitor LV design and implementation to ensure compliance with HSE and QA standards.

  • Support the development and implementation of LV inspection and test plans (ITPs).

  • Coordinate interfaces with other engineering disciplines and project packages.

  • Provide expert input on regulatory, design, and quality compliance for LV systems.

  • Drive continuous improvement and share best practices across the project team.

Your Profile:

  • 7+ years of experience in offshore platform LV systems design, installation, and testing.

  • Strong knowledge of standards and regulations (e.g., DIN VDE, IEC, DNVGL, BSH).

  • Excellent understanding of offshore electrical systems and project execution.

  • Excellent English skills (C1 level); German is a plus.

  • Willingness to travel (approx. 20%), including to international yards and offshore sites.

  • Hands-on, structured, and solution-oriented mindset.
