We’re Hiring: Commissioning Manager – Offshore / Onshore Substations

Are you an experienced commissioning professional with a strong background in offshore and onshore substations?

We are looking for a Commissioning Manager to coordinate and oversee commissioning activities for large-scale energy and infrastructure projects, ensuring safe, compliant, and timely delivery of complex systems from construction to operation.

This is a long-term assignment (until end of 2027) on major international renewable energy projects.

Your Mission

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage commissioning activities across offshore and onshore substations

  • Act as the main interface between contractors, project management, O&M, HSE, and QA/QC teams

  • Oversee commissioning strategies, schedules, and system readiness

  • Monitor commissioning progress and report status, risks, and deviations

  • Review and approve commissioning documentation, procedures, ITPs, and test records

  • Coordinate FAT, SAT, and system integration activities

  • Ensure compliance with technical specifications, standards, permits, and HSE requirements

  • Support handover and acceptance of systems into operation

Your Profile

  • 5+ years of experience in commissioning management for substations, offshore platforms, or industrial projects

  • Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and auxiliary systems

  • Experience working with EPC / EPCI contractors

  • Solid knowledge of DIN VDE, IEC, and relevant offshore standards

  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills

  • Fluent English required; German is a plus

  • Willingness to travel and work on-site when required
